Personal view:
-"How did this begin? Well, I always feel that my own life took a bend in some moment, but I continued straight ahead. It was then that an endless course in the odd fields of least expected and common places began".
-"Once I had gone right onto the world of tango, I saw a couple of dancers doing a magical performance. It is them, I said.
-"Some people came into this world to go through everything, to rethink everything and to change everything. Being a musician, I studied to be a concert guitarist. Now I think in someone as Paco de Lucia and in that moment I knew there was another way of dancing tango."
-"Tango is a dance that from its very beginning has not stopped developing itself. This dance, as well as any other discipline, means release; body and mind release. Body release because of its huge dynamic possibilities. Mind release because its root is related to impromptu performance; and impromptu performance means playing; and playing rests one’s mind".

Ignacio was also educated in the National Music Conservatorium Manuel de Falla. As he was so interested by stage presence, he studied theatre with the stage manager Manuel González Gil in the city of Cordoba.

He puts special attention to each specific student’s needs; beginners, intermediate or advanced young or adults students. This helps them to speed up their learning way, to resolve problems and doubts quickly and to make classes lively and relaxed.

Personal view
As regards impromptu performance, I think it is essential to get to know the structure of the dance deeply in order to experience it easily. This knowledge is not related to concepts and diagrams learned by heart. On the contrary, it has to do with being aware of the possibilities of performances there are. The dancer should know whether to walk, whether to look at first to see how much space he has to dance or whether to be similar to other dancer.

Tango Training System
Ignacio Gonzalez is the creator of this revolutionary training system for dancers which will be soon available in video.

Personal View
This dance has different elements called ganchos, boleos, sacadas, etc or combinations of these which are more complicated than others. This difficulty makes dancers perform just the easiest available resources; and the dance becomes a constant repetition. It was then when I realized that this was the bottleneck for many dancers and that this made them loose incentive and stop their development. So, it was time to expand new systems. For us, for the development of the dance and for the development of the teaching, we need not only to systematize the training theory but also the practice.
